Was the fourth time a Corvette paced the Indy 500, with Greg Norman
driving the convertible pace car. Chevrolet went on to build 1100
Pace Car replicas to commemorate the event.
This
car is not only a "Festival" car but was on the track.
(Not the one that paced the race driven by Greg Norman) It is car
number 18 driven by Fred Nation of the IMS. Recent service and new
tires make this car ready to go. Odometer shows 39,336 miles. Automatic
transmission and manual convertible top make this a pleasure to
