The Mini Hi-Boy Hot Rod was built for Harry's grandson, Luke Burgard. It is a 1/3 scale replica of the 1932 Ford and is powered by a Tecumseh 1 cylinder motor that can achieve 8 bhp and, with long gearing, an amazing top speed of 60 mph. The design and fabrication was done by Greg Jacobs and the body modification and paintwork by Mark Burgard. The parts came from a variety of sources including several vintage McLaren race cars. It has a snowmobile type torque converter clutch, titanium rotor, Wildwood brake calliper, roll cage, 4-point harness, dual exhausts and boat trailer axles and hibs, quite a machine for a seven year old!
